- I hit the surf shops to buy a leash, zinc, ding repair and ear drops.
- Whilst I’m in JBay I start to begin feeling feverish. I might be allergic to this town.

- Stop off at the windmills and smash a panado! Hogsback here we come.
- Stopped at Nanaga fat stall for a pie and orange juice. The panados have kicked in.

- I’m feeling rather tired but the drive is beautiful enough to distract me. Just a little bit of roadworks and I’m heading up the pass to Hogsback
- I pull into Away With The Fairies and am greeted by Ernest, who me and my brother met when we were here at the end of last year.
- I’m feeling quite run down so I take a lot of comfort in camping in a familiar spot.
- With a burst of energy I repack my food bags. I know have a dedicated breakfast and lunch bag as well as a coffee bag which I feel proud to have done.
- I make a simple dinner of rice cakes and avo.
- I do some doodling in my book and head off to bed nice and early.
