We were set to leave this morning, but poor Jordan was hit but a stomach bug in the night. We’re just taking it super easy today. She’s sleeping and I’m hanging out in the room with her catching up with some travel journals. I eat breakfast on the stoep outside our room.

I achieve the impossible and find two cokes, a large amount of ice and lemon and Jordan is a happy babe. Her nausea seems to have faded and she’s doing ok!

I do some writing on the bed while Jordan sleeps. At lunch we go outside and Jordan perks up a lot. She attends a meeting and I get started on the Bovineiterology blog post. We play some Sudoku and Jordan manages another meeting before a wave of nausea arrives.

We come up with the science of vomitology while staring out over the lake. Basically you vomit when the waves of nausea surpass a threshold. The amplitudes of the nausea increase at first and then slowly decrease.

Jordan hits the threshold for what we think is the last time and then immediately feels great. We both eat something and then settle into bed to watch some more Community. An early night is on the cards.
